As the game unfolds over three rounds, players must uncover who among them is the traitor while racing to build paths to the elusive gold.

Each player receives a secret role as either a miner or a saboteur. Using Path Cards, players create routes from the Start Card to hidden Goal Cards, while Action Cards can help or hinder others. The miners aim to connect their path to the gold, while the saboteurs try to stop them without revealing their identities. At the end of each round, the player with the most gold pieces after three rounds wins the game.
