HUNGERING ABYSS
It is the height of the Roaring Twenties in the state of Massachusetts. An unsettling force has been casting its hungry gaze upon the streets of Arkham, and fear winds through the hearts and minds of the citizens who call this city home.

Recently, disappearances have been increasing: the number of missing persons far exceeds the typical number of runaways and accidents. Many Arkham citizens have chosen to ignore the issue and attempt to go about their daily lives—but not you, the investigators of this story. You each have your own personal reasons for gathering here tonight, but one thing is clear: each one of you is prepared to do whatever you can to stop the evil that is steadily taking hold of the city and its people.
